THE CONSULTATION
Every journey begins with a complimentary consultation, in person or virtually. We'll get to know you, your dating history, what you're looking for, and what you hope to find through matchmaking.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Once you become an Intentional Dater, we go deeper. You'll complete our thoughtful Dater Survey, background screening and professional photography while we build your personalized profile. Then, you'll meet with your matchmaker for a deeper conversation about you, your history, and what matters most in a relationship.

THE PERSONALIZED SEARCH
Your matchmaker personally searches for potential connections based on everything we've learned about you. Potential matches are thoughtfully considered for compatibility, preferences, and important dealbreakers—not selected by an algorithm.

THE VETTING PROCESS
When we identify a promising connection, we personally interview and vet the potential match. Introductions move forward only when there is mutual interest, and every person introduced through Ditto completes a background check.

THE INTRODUCTION
When you both say yes, we curate the date. Ditto coordinates the details and reservations around an experience thoughtfully selected for you, so you can focus on the person you're there to meet.

How does the process begin?
It starts with a complimentary consultation, either in person or virtually. We’ll get to know you, your dating history, what you’re looking for, and whether personalized matchmaking or the Ditto Dating Pool is the right fit for you.
Is my information kept private?
Discretion matters to us. Before an introduction, potential matches receive only the information you have agreed to share, such as your photo, first name, and a short bio. We do not share additional identifying information without your permission.
Where do potential matches come from?
We search thoughtfully across the Ditto Dating Pool and our broader network for people who show potential compatibility with our Intentional Daters. Potential matches are personally reviewed and vetted before an introduction moves forward.
Does everyone complete a background check?
Yes. The safety and peace of mind of our clients is paramount. Every person introduced through Ditto completes a third-party background check.
Do I have to agree to every introduction?
Of course. You are always in control. Your matchmaker presents potential connections they believe are strong matches, but an introduction only moves forward when both parties express mutual interest.
What happens after a date?
